Bonsai 101 (Beginner class) - $105

Want to learn more about bonsai? Take a hands on approach and learn by doing. Bonsai Northwest's Bonsai 101 Classes are the best way to learn about bonsai. This class will cover the basics of bonsai aesthetic design concepts to best horticulture practices. Best of all each student will have their own tree that they will get to pot up, wire, style and trim with the help of our knowledge instructors. And at the end of the class you will get to take your bonsai home with you with all the knowledge and tips you will need to care and maintain it.

Workshops (Advanced Classes) - $300+

Here at Bonsai Northwest we have been fortune to learn from some of the best Bonsai Artists in the nation. Workshops with Michael Hagedorn and Boon Manakitivipart has transform my personal collection of tree. You too can have the opportunity to learn from a professional that study the art of bonsai in Japan. This workshops are all-day (even multiple day) events that require members to bring their own bonsai trees to work. Seats for these workshops fill up fast and priority is giving to those from the previous workshop. (Most workshops meet 3 times a year, Late winter, mid-spring, and fall, and most workshop members attend all of them to learn the myriad of work each season brings)
